Brake units for Delta Electronics frequency inverters are required if it is necessary to brake an active load and the inverter is not equipped with a braking transistor.

The frequency inverters VFD-E up to 22 kW and VFD-C2000 up to 30 kW sold by us have a braking transistor as standard. VFD-C2000 frequency inverters with a power of more than 30 kW are manufactured without a braking transistor. Therefore, for these types of frequency inverters, it is necessary to supplement the frequency inverter with a braking unit for dynamic braking of the motor.
